The 14 rooms of The Winston are meticulously designed to calm your nerves and excite your senses. Every room starts with a few basics—beds with enough room to practice your snow angels on and floor plans with enough room to practice your box step in. Then each room becomes a unique jewel box with tantalizing finishing touches—like a needlepoint headboard framed by blush, linen-textured wallpaper or an intricate hand-painted barrel creating depth in a cricket green motif. At The Winston, we believe that discovery should start before you even leave your room.
King Suite
After a full day of roaming the Santa Ynez Valley, we know that what you need is a room that makes room for a little respite. With a king-size bed to help you rest, a 50” flat-screen TV to help you relax, a spa-inspired bathroom full of Malin + Goetz bath products to help you refresh, and a mini fridge, Nespresso machine and supply of Harney & Sons teas to help you rehydrate—this room was practically built to help you recharge.

A spa-inspired bathroom filled with Malin + Goetz bath products provides ample opportunity for self-care. The suite is laid out to meet our ADA traveler's needs. We provide 25- inch high countertops, 32-inches of space on both sides of the bed, a shower seat, and a detachable shower wand. This well-appointed suite has been diligently designed to help you feel well rested with a king-sized bed and a whole lot more.
Queen Suite
The streets of Solvang are undeniably charming. And in this room, the view of those streets is just the beginning. A queen-sized bed offers a cozy place to catch a snooze. This room is sure to leave you feeling refreshed in more ways than one.
Clocktower Suite
There is arguably no more iconic place to stay in the entire city of Solvang than The Winston’s Clock Tower Suite. Here, a light-filled grand entry foyer leads you to a splendid sitting room with a 50” flat-screen TV, a mini fridge, a Nespresso machine and a supply of Harney & Sons teas. A separate bedroom with a king-sized bed provides a little extra privacy. A spa-inspired bathroom filled with Malin + Goetz bath products provides the perfect opportunity to freshen up. And a clock-face mural provides a reminder of the tower’s exterior charm too. If you happen to feel like you’re dreaming before you’ve even gone to sleep, don’t worry. That happens here all the time.
